As others have mentioned, CrossFire is still active, but it is not the same. At all.
The pay2win has gotten REAL. It was a thing before, but now it is ridiculous and out of hand.
VIP appears to add on to the OP-ness of ZP. Everyone in that freakin' game is a pro now. So be ready to have your ass handed to you left and right.

That's why I left from the NA servers. In the UK servers there aren't even close to the multitude of ridiculous freakin' high ass ranks that NA has.

The company picked up the Chinese Pay2Win aspect about 3 years ago. Since then they've been rolling in more cash then you think is possible (Last check, they were in the top 10 for highest grossing games in the world).

In my opinion it isn't pay 2 win. I do just as good with GP guns but its still active but kinda dead.. Clan servers are usually dead unless you play UK Clan Server but even then its sometimes dead. I suggest finding a different FPS game.

Haven't touched CF for 2 years... CS: GO is where shit's at now.

Crossfire was my second FPS game I have ever played. Very good game. It's better than CS:GO because of its mode and everything. I recommend CS:GO more because of the graphics and team work. Crossfire doesn't have that. I sometimes come back to the game and leave for some time. I played it since 2009 and its still a good game but a bit dead and dying slowly.. will probably die in the next couple of years..

Heard there was a new D.E with a Canadian skin.
Also see that the CrossFire shop is up and you buy things with Event Points.
The new concept is alright.
