Live action adaptations have nothing to do with the anime. They're just trying to milk more money. There's been atleast four series getting these announcements in the past, like, two months.

Bleach sits around 1,129,676 sales half of 2016 that is currently #22
While BLEACH 71 sold 461,435 which was higher than Boku no Hero Academia 7 and FAIRY TAIL 53

Anime and advertisements boosts sales by a lot. Another good example: Hunter x Hunter and Fairy Tail.

Are you joking? Studio Pierrot still has Bleach under their projects. I don't think it will be going away.
Bleach still pulls in a lot of money internationally as well.

Four years out of development with sales decreasing and even more so now that the series is over. There was no argument to begin with buddy, shit's not coming back, and for the better given how bad it was.
