UK Train Tickets

I want to know how many people travel legitimately on UK trains.

(Why just the UK? Idk other countries and how strict they are, its very easy to travel for very cheap prices here if done correctly)

Tempted to make an e-book on my understanding of this considering I've saved well over £2000 by travelling smart and not paying for full tickets etc. This would increase significantly on the distance you travel (I don't go far at all)

I only travel one-three stops on a regular basis so my cost would be a lot smaller than someone travelling to London from somewhere far out.

It's funny how simple it is to avoid paying as much as normal people and how much you can actually save with simple methods.

No need to reply to the thread if you think its not useful, this is just information I'd like.

Roads near me would be horrible to cycle on and also illegal to get to where I go and very dangerous.

Can't walk there, that would be illegal too and someone would report it, also it would be dangerous.

But seriously, Opal cards for students in Australia are only supposed to be used to travel to and from school, but they are not deactivated on weekeds and can be used whenever. I think that is hella stupid lol. Tickets are much more expensive now because of the transfer to Opal cards but I have only blown about $50 of legit transport money to the $200 I would have spent. Cars are good.

Jump over the fence or just use an old ticket and walk through the disabled gate. You don't need to scan your ticket and you just show the dude with the slick sunnies.
