dude, your making a flash game. It doesn't take THAT much gfx. Just go to newgrounds or something and ask some of them.

This doesn't need gfx man. IF you want gfx just learn it yourself, from the looks of things your rpg could be upgraded with you spending an hour with ps.

Flash game? This game is being programmed in C#,C++, XNA. Nothing in the game is in flash. This is an old retro MMO. It was first developed in 2000, but I put it down a few years ago because our programmer went to uni & I went traveling.

Now we have got our team back together & want the game back online, we have not even announced it yet.

Look at the screenshots below. You can honestly not tell me a person who can skillfully make sigs cannot make simple GUI and boxes like below.

I understand if you cannot make items/avatars/mobs etc but a GUI? If you are good enough at making sigs that should only be able to take you a few hours at the MOST.

You want an upgrade? Get your original guy to come back and do it, after all you said you got "the team back together". If you want someone else your going to need a medium and a down-payment in limbo. No one is going to do this without a payment, and they aren't going to wait for your game to generate an income for them to get paid.

Your asking for an upgrade of pixel art. Currently your pixel art is quite fine and all you need is reintegration. If you want an upgrade then its going to take more than just a few minutes. It could take days for the amount of items you seek if you want a decent job done. That requires hours of skilled labour in which you'd have to pay for.

Even for a GUI we will still need to get paid for it.

If the end outcome is going to be generating income then all who are involved in the process need an upfront incentive. Ask any freelance digital artist, anything that will be aiding in the generation of income will require capital cost.

I do Business, I do Economics, I know that if your smart you wont do anything for free if someone is going to make money from it.

Next time you request something, assess the requirements of the job, make sure you can pay upfront for it. If not then get one of your buddies to do it.

Have you not read what I posted. This request was for people that wanted to put it on there resume or want to be apart of an MMO community. If you don't want to then fine, don't. It does not bother me in the slightest, but just don't come on this thread saying that nobody is going to do it without being paid.

None of my programmers are getting paid and they are doing a hell of alot of work, they are doing it to show off as work for future refrences.

Infact, one of my programmers is actually from MPGH! Hell_Demon.

To be honest this isn't really going to help anyone in a resume. Creating pixel art or a GUI for free on a small scale mmo, isn't going to help a resume as much as a paying one. So your gonna need to give whoever makes this a down payment, even if its small. Im sorry but that's how it works. Go to the developers at newgrounds, go to a pixel art forum find people who specialise maybe theyll do it for free. But your not going to find anyone here. Hardly any of us even need resumes in this area.
