MAL Synopsis

Shimazu Toyohisa, whilst involved at the Battle of Sekigahara, manages to mortally wound Ii Naomasa, but is critically wounded in the process. As he walks from the field broken and bleeding, Toyohisa finds himself transported to a corridor of doors, where a bespectacled man at a desk waits for him. This man, Murasaki, sends Toyohisa into the nearest door where he wakes up in another world. There, Toyohisa meets other great warriors like him who have been transported as well, to be part of a group known as "Drifters."

First episode was pretty good. They're just recap's of the old OVA for now, but higher resolution. Hopefully the third episode will start the new and we get to see more action.

Same author as Hellsing if you're seeing the similarities in both art style and main character.

Watched it, didn't really captivate me.
Some of the fighting scenes were made horribly, the whole beginning in general felt like it was just thrown on you, and you needed to see something else beforehand or you wont get any of it.

The history aspect will tone down later on and it'll be easier to understand.

I enjoyed the first episode, i like the concept of it so far as before there gonna die they turn into drifters and get moved to a different timeline/world. Interested to see how it plays out.

I liked Hellsing, but Drifters just give a weird look that's all maybe the second episode will change my mind.

was hoping that the story would be good but my brother told me that the manga wasn't so good,
