Unlucky.. RIP
So, I just received an email from my credit card company saying it detected a possible fraud from someone buying a VPN. And I went and checked my balance and holy fuck , that person also purchased an anti virus shit, that was like a few days from the one they detected was a fraud. They just be like "oh holy this owner must not have checked it, let's go and swipe a few more hundreds lOl".
And the company said that person also went to try to swipe some hundred dollar stuff but was declined.
The thing is, I had my credit card with me the whole entire time, how did they manage to have the exp, 3 digit number and the name and billing and 16 number? My last purchase from from g2a and I rarely use that card.
Wtf. I did use PayPal to buy it though, and coincidence PayPal contacted me to change my password. Gg, they can check all my numbers from PayPal ??
They removed all the charges and is sending me a new card, whewwwww, can said person go to jail for this shit?
They picked a person that actually check their emails. Lol
Can they? Yes.
Will they? Hell no.
Unless they are not smart and did it on their actual IP and didn't spoof their MAC address. They also shouldn't have used their actual address when purchasing anything, unless the address is a hotel and even then they should have not done that. Just my experience in carding.

Usually carders don't use any legitimate info e.g. address, ip address, mac address etc... so i think he'll most likely get away with it.
I would advise not using your credit card directly for purchases on websites like g2a etc. Also make sure your computer isn't infected with any type of malware.
Honestly he really wont have anything done to him, He is just going to continue carding, he probably bought your card for like $5 so there are plenty more of other peoples.
Call the police and try to get lucky. Very sorry for your loss.
Most likely you've got hacked on your home PC. Extracting PayPal passwords or other sensitive information is fairly easy via a RAT
That's scary. Thank God I check my emails daily on all my credit card, I'm actually paranoid right now and checking all my cards and bank account. I set it up to where they will update me via mobile now whenever a transaction happens and daily balance.
Just removed all my credit card from PayPal just in case.
First time it happened to me. Once had a carder or some shit used over $500 on my mom's bank debit card , from a children brand store online lOl, basically shipped to their address. Mom was balking and cuz she can't speak English I had to go to the bank and explain and sign some stuff. Was hectic. Hope that person got caught. Even called the brand customer support and explain, they said they done a investigation but can't tell me any details.
Got money back, important part .
I am not a middleman nor do I buy/sell anything. If you are being contacted by someone off-site from MPGH then it's not me! Please report these to me via PM. Don't be stupid, think first.
cancel your card and call the police lol
thats kinda sad
There could be multiple ways they got your card details:
- Using one of the physical things they put over the part slot where you put your card in to get money out.
- Entering your card details on a compromised website.
- Entering your card details on a site using https:// rather than https://, which could allow a man-in-the-middle attack.
- Or, as you pointed out, they bought it using PayPal as it was hooked up to your card.
To be exact, it's not brought via PayPal. Because on the g2a that was brought from PayPal, it would should say PayPal then the merchant company. These 2 charges I found were just the merchant names. And it was for antivirus and then a VPN lol.
And I never use this card except a year ago physically.
But I don't normally use HTTPS: , so I think that may be why.
