How to Reset your rank permanently

I do know that this already exists in here a few pages back.
But since all the 10th Prestige hackers are having buttackes about their incoming bans i am going to post this anyway.
Do not have Modern Warefare 2 open while doing this due to the steam cloud synchronizing it will not work while having it opened

1. First navigate to:
C/Program Files/Steam/steamapps/common/call of duty modern warfare 2/players
and delete all the files that is named .STAT in the end.

2. Then go to:
C/Program Files/Steam/Userdata/XXXXXXXX/XXXXXXXX/Remote
And delete the 2 files there (X=Numbers)

3. Now you should launch Modern Warefare 2.
It is important that you do not close it until you have level up to level two else this will not work. When you level up steam cloud will synchronize your stats and you will once again be level one.
