Edit LTB files

Ok this is gonna be an uncomplete tut on how to edit ltb files, most of u people know how to edit the skins and stuff but this is a little bit more difficult. This tut will require u to download two programs for 3d editing. Lets begin.

First read why06 tutorial to learn the basics of extracting and editing rez files.

When u extract the right rez file u will get alot files by the name of ????.ltb. These files need to be converted to .x. You can do this by using the program that i will upload and u can dowload.



Note: You will not be able to convert all file to .x. Only some will work so u will have to try a couple.

Ok, now that you have completed the conversion u have to make ure 1st download. Google "3d exploration" and download.



This is gonna be the program u will use to open the .x file. Now that u have opened the file with 3d exploration u must convert it to .3ds so u can edit it in a another 3d editing program. I use 3ds max but u can try a few other ones. To convert it to .3ds u simply go to save as and choose ure extention.

Now that u have converted it to 3ds you will have to download a 3d editing progarm that can open .3ds files. I recomend 3ds man, it is a very complex program but when u learn how to use it is great. Heres a screen shot of 3ds max in action.



When u finish ure editing u can use max to export it as a .x file. This were im going to have to finish the guide because i do not know how to convert the file back to .ltb.
