Young people don't have money, and they have a fuck ton of free time. This leads to stealing, robbing, and doing dumb shit in general. Plus, the justice system doesn't come down on juveniles as hard as adults, so they feel as if they have no consequences for their actions.

Teens are growing, high school drama, bad influences, people start using drugs in high school, adults have more responsibilities.

Because dummies, if they're smart they either don't get caught (so there's basically no crime) or they work their way up legally. You get smarter the older you are, atleast about life. Young people don't realize that if they fuck up, they can fuck up their life completely.

Youth nowadays are attracted towards many other different things. Their parent may not be able to fulfill all of it but they try their best to do so. Angry and desperate youth tries to find a way to earn money and basically just gets to know the bad world out there due to which later on there is crime , murder , rape etc. Besides this revenge , love , jealousy are a few reasons that youths do more crime. Adults are adults and they know what to do with their life.
