How to show pings more precisely

Hey everybody,
I saw many member of mpgh that wanted to see who actually is the host!i found a thread on the IW forums that explains how to change the ping-bars from 4 to 10!this gives you the response for who you have to blame when the game is legging!(at least it is your pc)

- Navigate to the folder: 'program files\steam\steamapps\common\call of duty modern warfare 2\players' and open the file config_mp.cfg
-Change scoresping_interval from 100 to 20, and maxbars from 4 to 10 (10 is the max).
This means that each of the 10 bars represents 20ms, with full green being 20ms or lower, and 1 red being 200ms or higher.

editing config files = ban? O.o. Please clarify on the bannable status of this modification.

its not bannable afaik its just a cfg. they could cheat protect it if they wanted us not to use it.

used this changes it 1 mounth ago, but for me if ur not the host it block me to see the scores taping "TAB" can see score only at the end of game , so think not usefull

It has already been posted some days ago on steam forum, every one told a guy that you couldnt been banned for this.

Plus, iam using it since release, no ban. Its totaly safe
