The hornet is basically the hybrid of a mine and claymore. It has a bigger blast radius (claymore) but reacts automatically (like mines). It's not that great, I'm sure the spec people are going to still abuse the noobtube anyways.

Ive seen the explosion (first hand) it was on top of me... its ALMOST as big as an airstrike... i think... i got K.O'd but the 2 guys behind me nearly got killed to... so even if not 1 hit ko if ur a small distance, still shit loads of damage = death / epic legit hacks / nx noob / boom.

fuck this mine. I got killed so many times by it in a death room match. But it takes a while to explode and if you run far enuff it wont kill you. In 1 hit.

I've only seen them planted by the enemy. I haven't actually seen anyone die by them or even see 1 explode. I need to pick 1 up though and try them out. My success with claymores and claymores+mines leads me to think I could own with this new toy. We shall see.

The idea is to bait someone with an obvious mine or trap and kill them with a hidden one. By trap I'm referring to a claymore or the new mine and by mine I mean just that the old mines. The end of the tunnel below Bravo spawn in Grave Digger is the prime spot. Plant a motion mine to the sharp right of the tunnel exit. they will creep out slow suspecting of something there but they wont look for the mine on top of the tomb or to the left of the tunnel. you just need a chain reaction. also, those crates down there they hop up on in the center, get up on the stack and place a motion mine on the slightly higher stack. when someone from bravo hops up to camp the bottom of your stairs theyll get their head blown off lol
