I don't know if this is even any use to anyone but it may help some people when they try to make something.
This will display a note upon entering any dungeon / world. I've used the failure packet because it's the one
that every server should already have.
Find RealmManager.cs and then find 'public bool Tryconnect(Client client)'
right before the 'return *the value in your code*;' add either:
for red writing add this:
for yellow:Code:client.SendPacket(new FailurePacket { ErrorDescription = (">> Welcome young coder!") //You can change the text inside the quotation marks }); client.SendPacket(new FailurePacket { ErrorDescription = (">> Second line of your choice.") //Same as the above one });
Code:client.Player.SendInfo(">> Welcome young coder!") //You can change the text inside the quotation marks client.Player.SendInfo(">> Second line of your choice.") //Same as the above one
*Side note to everyone who is reading, I'm an open dev and need a server to work on. What I'm looking for:
1. VPS powered / Cloud computing server.
2. Already a dev team available to talk to and discuss ideas with.
3. Payments? pff, don't need 'em*

for red text you can do "client.Player.SendError" aswell
true, but i'd rather use failure packets as senderror isn't immediate.
This is nice
As child i scavenged for food. Not because i was hungry, but because i was greedy.
I had something similar, mine was so that it announced to the whole server when an admin logged in;
Code:if (client.Account.Rank >= 2) { foreach (var i in Clients.Values) { if (i != null) i.Player.SendError($"{client.Account.Name} the Admin has logged in!"); } }

The name 'client' doesn't exist in the current context ?
That is the problem, I tried adding the code you sent, it higlights client in red and says that message:
