IMO the M416 CQB < M416. I prefer the GP version as no matter what the stats say I say it's more powerful. The CQB is just for noob ranks with NX who want a low recoil M416 and an iTech scope but can get neither with GP. The M417 Combat has better range and it simply mows people down.
