Search Engine Optimization For MpGh.Net & Visual Basic Section
I have decided to post a [Article] On optimizing your post to land better results in powerful search engines.
How can the VB section Help and bring up the VB section?
-- Keyword Optimization --
I
- n January Google Was search 6,700 times for the search term "Visual Basic Tutorials"
- On Average (Monthly) the term "Visual Basic Tutorials" are search 22,000 + Times
- The Average Search for Visual Basic Injector is 220
- The Average Search for Visual Basic Help 14,800
- The Average Search for Vb.net is 6,120,000
So needless to say there is some decent potential to land Google Searches to MPGH.net for this section (this applies to other sections as well)
How can we do this?
Following Posting "Guidelines"
Optimization
Tags
Posting Guidelines (For optimization)
- Use Keywords
- Title Your tutorials as [Tutorial]VB + Name
(this does not apply to releases or general questions/comments)
Examples:
- [Tutorial]Vb Injector
- [Tutorial]Vb ProgressBars
- [Tutorial]Vb MenuBars
What this does is shows the google bot that the content of the page matches the chosen keywords (optimization)
Use Tags
One of the most ignored features is "Tags" Tags are like search keywords, in this case used internally to help land results during a search, However, GoogleBots (during a crawl) will read the Tags.
Match the tags with the Title,
Example"
- Tutorial,VB,Injector,Visual Basic, Vb.net
- Tutorial,VB,ProgressBar,Tut,Vb.net,Visual,Basic
This will help increase the chance of landing a higher result on Google, increasing the potential of landing hits
Content
- Match your content with the title and tags,
Example:
- This Tutorial will teach you how to create a Injector in VB
When you can Bold matching keywords (don't overdue it, I mean appropriately) do so.
Example:
This Tutorial will teach you how to make a injector in VB
First, As always open your Vb.net application
Why?
Google Bots (and others) search for bold text that match keywords, it shows the search engine bots, that this is not a attempt to falsely land a high result, but the content is very important to the designer of the site.
A bots main purpose is to match query's in search engines to data that is relevant.
Finally, Don't repeat tutorials or releases that are similar to others , (I am not saying not at all, just saying refrain from it, Unless there is a significant difference)
Why?
Bots hate repetition, they are not "intelligent" enough to realize this isn't a attempt to grab results, Just another tutorial, Example: Bots see terms like Vb Vb Vb Vb Vb.net they will actually "penalize" the forum by moving it down the list as a "unwanted result" redundancy is not a good idea.
Well hope this helps.
yep 100% true

When working in webdesign, You should know that Google offers a Keyword tool which allows you to search the "Search amount" / Average , Using "Search Terms"
