In the xml, did you use another tile as a base and edit from there or from scratch and making its own properties?
How do I go about giving a tile correct blending properties? My custom tiles seem to use other tile sprites for blending... I'm sure there is somewhere I need to add the ID's to an array?
You can see my custom tiles blending, but the blend is using the wrong sprite.
My weapon is a backpack.

look at the other tiles xmls, they have a tag called blendpriority, mess around with that until ur satisfied ^^
