It was so unsuspicious and never saw it coming. The scammer used a bot that steam allowed to manipulate people. He asked me to get a trusty friend to give the knife to while he goes to buy the item that we are going to trade with. He then made a replica of my friend's account and traded me with that. That cunt.

When trading anything you should always triple check who you're trading and what you're trading, just to make sure you won't get scammed. Sucks though, I hate scammers.

I mostly saw videos of being audaciously clicking accept on the trade button when they see a whole of crap of what they are giving for a idk dragon lore. I'm not trying to be a hypocrite, but inspecting of what they are giving is what I usually do. The scammer said he will give me a uhh doppler bayonet and so I went on the market to check the price and everything. It's just that I never knew you can use bots to such things. I don't know even know how capable the bots are.
