Trump executive order: White House stands firm over travel ban
The Trump administration is standing firm over its ban on refugees from seven countries despite court rulings and mass protests against said intended action. Mr.Trump tweeted that the US needed "extreme vetting, NOW". His Staff's chiefe said only 109 people, out of 325,000 travelling, had been detained. The move has been widely condemned. Sixteen state attorneys general have said the order is unconstitutional. One federal judge temporarily halted the deportation of visa holders. Mr. Trump's executive order, signed on Friday, halted the entire US refugee programme for 120 days, indefinitely banned Syrian refugees, and suspended all nationals from seven Muslim-majority countries for 90 days. Those who were already mid-flight were detained on arrival - even if they held valid US visas or other immigration permits. It is not known how many others were turned away at airports overseas as they tried to board flights to the US.

Scientists have confirmed a brand new form of matter, time crystals
For a couple of months now, there have been speculation that scientists have created a brand new form of matter, known as time crystals, which are crystals that have an atomic structure that repeats not just in space, but also in time, allowing them to have motion without exerting any form of energy. This week, the speculation has been confirmed, and researchers have reported details on how to create these bizarre crystals. The discovery may sound a bit complicated to the average reader, but it furthers the area of physics - and knowledge about the world. By using these crystals, hypothetically, we will be able to use them for quantum information tasks. In addition, it can be used to provide new information on the many undiscovered dimensions in the world of physics, and improve our understanding of symmetry breaking - which is a concept that is believed to have given particles mass when the universe began expanding. To further emphasize, the discovery of this new piece of matter can be used to discover other undiscovered matter through new information gained from studying the time crystal.

Overwatch has reached a player base of over 25 million players.
Across all platforms, Overwatch has reached an amazing milestone in an incredible amount of time. Not that we had any doubts about overwatch's success, but it's interesting to hear just how large and popular it really is. According to the official Overwatch Twitter account tweeted by Activision-Blizzard, over 25 million people have purchased the game since it's release across three platforms, Xbox one, Playstation 4 and PC. Although this statistic could be clouded with questions like (How many are alt accounts? how many only played briefly during free-to-play weekends? and how many players play it regularly?) This is still an incredible accomplishment for blizzard and overwatch. Apparently from an unknown source, they said: " Reports in October pointed to 20 million players, so the game has grown by 5 million in less than three months." It's funny to think less than a year ago Blizzard were boasting "only weeks after the game's launch it boasted 7 million players, culminating in 119 million in-game hours."
It's incredible how fast this game shot up. And it doesn't show any signs of slowing down either. With new updates happening regularly and the Chinese new year update " Year of the Rooster" just coming out it looks like it's here to stay.

January 27 is International Holocaust Remembrance Day, people around the world remember those who were lost during Nazi Germany's efforts to remove minority and other ethnical groups from Europe during World War II. The designers Ramsey Nasser and Jane Friedhoff created new and unique game about this remembrance day. They are letting players using a purse as their weapon to hit groups of fascists.
Handväska! (yes it means "purse") launched 27.01 this year and is hosted on Nasser's page . The game is simple, with minecraftly graphics style. You must hit as many nazis before the clock hits zero.

You can purchase the game for the price you decide, but $3 is suggested from the developers. The gathered amount will go for Human Rights Organizations (Southern Poverty Law Center and CUNY-CLEAR).

The Fret Zeppelin
Learning how to play the guitar can be difficult for some people and because of this, there have been many companies in the past that have tried to make the overall process easy and enjoyable at the same time. A company decided to take a hands on approach and has come up with a very cool accessory that would make learning the guitar much easier. The Fret Zeppelin is a series of LED lights that can be attached to almost every single guitar. All you really have to do is attach the LED lights onto the guitar and sync it with the program that comes with it. From there, you can select certain songs or notes to play. As each note hits, the corresponding LED light will illuminate. The idea behind this product is similar to that of guitar games such as Guitar Hero. As each note progresses, all you really have to do is follow the lights. Currently the Fret Zeppelin has a Kickstarter page open and a single unit will cost around $199.

Seagate plans to release a 16TB hard drive next year
Seagate announced a 10TB hard drive last year, which escalated the race for the biggest hard drive, and now they have also announced that a giant 16TB hard drive is under development for release in 2018, according to Geek.com. Although we have seen SSDs much bigger than that (Seagate’s 60TB solid state drive), this 16TB hard drive in particular is able to become the largest magnetic disk drive ever if it really goes into the market. Seagate has confirmed that this 16TB giant would still maintain the regular 3.5 inch drive size, which means it will be most likely usable on a regular desktop. It’s still too early for us to get to know the price range, but last year’s 10TB model costs $534.99, so we can expect something near that range. If you’re really keen on having 16TB of storage space in your computer, you can always use Samsung’s 15.36TB SSD which costs $10,000, which is supposed to fit into a normal computer.

Migo's - CULTURE
Migo's new album, CULTURE, is available everywhere as of January 26, 2017. The trio has had a massive, worldwide lead-up to the album drop, which culminated in "Bad and Boujee" topping the Hot 100 for the second time. Also on the album, follows-up "T-Shirt" and "What the Price". The album, CULTURE, is laced with 13 tracks, and is the follow up to YRN: Tha Album. The album has guest appearances from DJ Khaled, 2 Chainz, Travis Scott, Gucci MAne, and Lil Uzi Vert. Meanwhile, the production comes from Metro Boomin', 808 Mafia, Zaytoven and Murda Beatz.

MadeInTyo denounces Über
I assume most of you have heard the song "Über Everywhere" by now, well the artist who created this song announced on Twitter he's using this company no more! The artist tweeted out "usta uber a lot , not no moeeee" and "@lyft everywhere". On surface this seemed relatively dumb but there is a reason behind this. "His decision comes in response to Uber’s recent scandal; the company angered many after it appeared to undercut a protest by the NYC Taxi Workers' Union on Saturday. The union joined mass protests at JFK Airport against President Trump’s recent executive order—which bans citizens of seven Muslim-majority countries from entering the U.S. for the next 120 days—by refusing to pick up or drop off passengers. Uber responded by eliminating its surge pricing: 'Surge pricing has been turned off at #JFK Airport. This may result in longer wait times. Please be patient.' ". -genius.com. Über angered many protesters with this move, and thus nudged many to switch to a newer taxi service called "Lyft".

#1 Villanova defeats #12 Virginia in buzzer beater 61-59.
Virginia almost upset #1 seed Villanova on Sunday. For the majority of the game Virginia's defense was dominant against Villanova's offense. Villanova was able to overcome a 2nd half 9 point deficit to win it on the tip-in buzzer beater by Donte DiVincenzo who averages only 7.4 points a game. It was the lowest total possession game that Villanova had all season, and the 2nd lowest for Virginia. A typical NCAA mens basketball game averages 69 possessions a game, this game just featured 55. That explains the extremely low scoring game by two powerhouses. Villanova lost against unranked Marquette on Tuesday 74-72. Had they lost this game as well they probably would have dropped heavily in the AP poll. They will still probably fall a few spots because of that loss on Tuesday and since #2 Kansas also lost undefeated #3 Gonzaga (22-0) will most likely take the much deserved #1 seed.

Australian Open: Roger Federer beats Rafael Nadal to win 18th Grand Slam title
For the first time in 10 years Federer won a Grand Slam title against Rafael Nadal. After the hard fought match the final score at the end was 6-4 3-6 6-1 3-6 6-3, and Roger Federer won his fifth Melbourne title to further his image as a legendary player in the tennis world. Currently Nadal is tied in second place with the retired tennis player Pete Sampras but is expected to surpass him in the coming years. After winning the match, Federer said that he has been coming here for over 20 years and has enjoyed every moment of it and he might not make it next year but he enjoyed his what he has made out of his career . One of the most impressive things about this match is how old Roger was when he won the match and that further adds to his grand accomplishments of his dazzling career.

Absolut Art Award 2017 Finalists
This week the finalists of the Absolut Art Awards were announced! There are 2 main categories within the Awards that are, Art Work & Art Writing. It a pretty tight race for the finalist as standards are very high. The winner of each category will be announced on may 12, at the Venice Biennale. They have another project that has to be done but the few finalists, plans for a new artwork, project, or publication must be done. This will be reviewed by a selected jury who will then decided the winner. The winner will receive the appropriate funds in order to complete his/her proposal. On top of that, the Art Work winner will be receiving a $21,500 price and another $29,000 will be given towards new writing and research. For the full list fo finalist please use the link below.

Scammer Grave

This week we are featuring the Scammer Grave section, which is currently moderated by [MPGH]Psychotic, [MPGH]Hova, and [MPGH]DarkLordXYZ.
Recently, these 'trusted' users on MPGH have turned out to be ordinary scammers. Many MPGH user's don't realize they can report these users and get them banned from MPGH permanently.
This section is a great page to bookmark, especially if you wish to conduct in trades with other MPGH users (or anyone in particular). You can use the MPGH search feature to check if someone is a scammer [or was] (either through Skype username or MPGH username)
Be sure to read all the stickied threads in this section before posting as there are certain requirements needed to be followed for a report to be valid.
If you don't want your report to be seen since it holds sensitive information, you can post it in the Private Reports section where only MPGH staff can view it.

A side of Marijuana with that order?
Two days ago, 2 Burger King workers, 20 year old Garrett Noris and 19 year old Megan Dearborn were arrested for allegedly selling Marijuana along with the food, after Police performed a sting operation. Someone tipped off authorities that by saying "nasty boy" and then ordering some extra crispy fries, they would receive some marijuana in their meal. However, Epping city New Hampshire Police chief Wallace says that the drugs were put in a separate container, not in the food itself, and he also claims that the Franchise owners had no idea that this was going on. Both workers are scheduled for arraignment on February 28th, and it was unable to determine if they had lawyers, and they could not be reached by phone. Although unclear at this time, at least Burger King can go back to strictly selling sandwiches.
