    Lightbulb How to overclock CPU processor?

    I have AMD Sempron 3000+ and i want to overclock it.How can i do that and what do i need to do it?

    Whats your problem?

    Just start the computer and right after the bios screen pops up push DEL, then you get to bios setup, if your motherboard supports overclocking the option should be somewhere there. You dont have to worry much about breaking your PC, as long as you dont change the emergency shutdown with too much heat it should be fine even if your CPU gets hotter then its supposed to. I recommend you install water cooling or some other effective method to cool your CPU.

    dude chill...water cooling...LOL...he's got a freaking sempron.

    1) what is ur motherboard.
    2) what socket 939?
    3) ram
    4) temps before overclocking

    report all this an we shall see what we do.

    and post a cpuz shot too.

    tnx guys but i already clocked it from 1.8ghz on 2,1 does that makes my processor equal to about intels ~3,5ghz~
