So you can try to call the School as a parent and tell them that you the student need to take off some time do to a death in a family and do a live call and show them?

Just teach them "Hey kids, if you go complain to a food restaurant online 50% of the time they will send you a giftcard for free food" - it is illegal to do but not illegal to teach i believe.
