Kim Jong Nam, Kim Jong Un's half brother assassinated in Malaysian airport.
Kim Jong Nam died on February 13th approximately 20 minutes after being attacked with one of the most potent chemical weapons, VX nerve agent. Two women came behind Kim Jong Nam while he was walking in the airport and wiped the nerve agent on his face with a rag. VX is such a strong nerve agent that it requires a national laboratory in order to make, indicating that this was an assassination backed by North Korea. The two women, Indonesian and Vietnamese, were apparently approached by four North Korean men and given the nerve agent. The women claim they were given $90 to be part of a prank show, and that they thought it was just a prank. Nam has lived outside of North Korea for decades, so it is not clear why North Korea wanted him executed. The two women and a North Korean man were arrested. North Korea denies the allegations.

Norway pledges millions of dollars to combat US President Trump's worldwide anti-abortion movement
Norway has joined an international movement to raise millions of dollars in order to replace the damages formed by US President Donald Trump's move to ban all U.S. funded groups providing information on abortion. In the beginning of January, the Netherlands started a global fund service in order to help women access abortion services. Joining the Netherlands are the likes of Sweden, Denmark, Belgium, Luxembourg, Finland, Canada and Cape Verde. Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg, stated, "The government is increasing its support for family planning and safe abortion by 85 million Norwegian Crowns ($10 million USD) compared to 2016." In cumulation, the support of many countries are allowing the scars, caused by US President Trump's decision to ban all U.S. funded groups providing information on abortion, to heal up, at least slightly. In contrast, Trump pledges to continue condemning the acts of abortion as an continuing global initiative.

Overwatch Wins DICE: Game Of the Year
The annual DICE awards were held a few days ago, and the the most prestigious award, 'Game of the Year' was won by Overwatch. The other nominee's included:

Besides Overwatch, Uncharted 4 was very close on it's heels. It was nominated for 10 awards and had great success in winning 5.

As well as hosting many awards, DICE awards also has a Hall of Fame, it's reserved for individuals who "have been instrumental in the development of highly influential games." This year, DICE added Bethesda's Todd Howard (Director of Fallout and Elder Scrolls) in to their Hall of Fame, becoming the 22nd ever to achieve that status among great names such as Hideo Kojima and Leslie Benzies.

Looks like the Serious Sam 4 release date may have been shown in an 'easter egg'
Although CroTeam works for four years in the game (with small breaks), we have not yet seen a single screenshot from the upcoming sequel, and information about the game is more than scarce. Trained eye, however, the user noam2000 noticed an interesting easter egg in Serious Sam VR: The Last Hope. On one of the weapons, it turns out that there is etched a series of dates: March 21, 2001, February 02 2002, October 11, 2005, November 22, 2011, September 09 2016 and December 7, 2017. Except for the last common between them all is that they are release days for the games in the series Serious Sam - respectively The First Encounter, The second Encounter, Serious Sam 2, Serious Sam 3 and Serious Sam VR.

Does this mean that the next part of the series is expected to see the light of day on December 7 this year? Possibly. However, as evidenced by the development cycle of The Talos Principle game was announced at E3 2014 and come December the same year. In consideration, several years development is entirely possible Serious Sam 4 to be presented to the public for the first time at this year's E3 and similar as Talos to come out on December 7, 2017

Let us not forget that there are other projects in the works - Serious Sam VR: The Second Encounter and Serious Sam 3 VR, and indie title Serious Sam: Bogus Detour, as well as massive Fusion update, which is now confirmed that will be released this year. Considering, however, that the engraved dates show the release of the main games in the series (they lost secondary titles such as Next Encounter, three Serious Sam indie titles and VR The First Encounter) likelihood for us to expect a release date of Serious Sam 4 is big.

The Jack essentially acts as a "bridge" between your headphones and the device you want to connect it with. The Jack is relatively small and really light. It also comes with a clip so you can attach it to your shirt if you want. With a device this simple and cheap, I can see a lot of people buying this product.

Nokia’s 3310 returns to life as a modern classic
126 million copies of the original 3310 phone were sold by Nokia since it was first announced back in September, 2000. Now it is making a nostalgic return in a modern shape, all credit to HMD, the Nokia-branded phone maker. This phone will be named after its predecessor, the Nokia 3310. This version will have a 2.4-inch QVGA display, a microSD slot, 2-megapixel camera, running on a Nokia’s Series 30+ software. Compared to today’s phone standards, those specs are fairly simple, but that’s what makes it great considering the old version, the new version is smaller in size, thinner, and lighter in weight. It is also produced in many colors this time, red, glossy yellow, dark blue, and matte grey models. You can instantly recognize it as a Nokia phone and that’s the point of it, it even has a modern Snake game included by HMD for the sake of nostalgia. It has an Opera Mini browser included for basic web browsing, but also a very impressive battery life, 22 hours of talk time, and a 31 days standby time. You will barely waste any of the battery on since the phone is so basic. It is planned to make the new Nokia 3310 available this year for 49 euros ($52).

Future - HNDRXX
Future is not playing games in 2017. Within a week of his previous self-titles album, FUTURE, he drops his second album on Friday, February 24, 2017, titled HNDRXX. This project is made up of 17 tracks, and has guest artists such as Rihanna and The Weeknd on the project. Future states this album is more personal, and has more emotionally honest songwriting. Future goes on to explain that his Future Hendrix persona is about being different from one's government, being yourself and being comfortable in one's own skin. From dressing a little differently, to sounding a little differently or moving a certain type of way, Future says he's trying to capture the Jimi Hendrix vibe on his new project. "Now is the time, two to three years ago they weren’t ready, they wanted Future, they wanted ‘Real Sisters, They wanted me to be the ratchet-est and say the most disrespectful shit. And I understand that’s what music is, it makes you feel different kinds of ways" Future says.

USF BASKETBALL TEAM ACCIDENTALLY LEAVES TROY HOLSTON, GENO THORPE AT AIRPORT
The South Florida basketball team not only lost a game at Tulsa on Thursday, but the Bulls troupe somehow managed to forget two players at the Houston airport, the Tampa Bay Times reports. Guards Troy Holston and Geno Thorpe, who played in USF’s loss at Tulsa on Thursday night, flew with their teammates to Houston on Friday morning but fell asleep in the airport there. USF coaches didn’t realize they weren’t on the flight until too late, and three hours later, the two players were able to get on a flight and return to Tampa. USF is 7-20 and 1-15 in the American Athletic Conference — a fact that was noted by the mother of one of the players. Thorpe, a 6-foot-4 junior, is the team’s second-leading scorer at 15.1 points per game, while Holston, a 6-foot-4 sophomore, averages 10.0 points per game.

Manchester United to win EFL Cup final over Southampton
Manchester United and Southampton were face to face in an extremely entertaining match in the English football league cup final on Sunday. Southampton has scored the first goal that were wrongly disallowed through Manolo Gabbiadini. Ibrahimovic scored an impressive free-kick from 25 yards on 19 minutes, giving the Saints the lead. Following Ibrahimovic's goal, Jesse Lingard scored a second goal for Manchester United just before 7 minutes of the half-time. Southampton had put their opponents into an almighty scare by scoring twice and setting the game to a draw. Both goals were scored by Manolo Gabbiadini. First one was a few seconds before the half-time, and the second one was scored on the third minute of the second half. Southampton had a big chance of winning their first big piece of silverware since 1976, but Ibrahimovic took the headlines by scoring a goal in the last three minutes. Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has won more silverware in his 8 months at Manchester United than Liverpool FC have in their last 12 years.

This year's ADAA Art Show preview
This year's ADAA Art show is around the corner and here are couple previews before it open to the public on Wednesday, March 1. So be excited, just a couple more days for one of the most anticipated art shows of the year. These are the 29th edition of the Art Show, which is organized by the Art Dealers Association of America or like some prefer, ADAA. The Art Show will display 72 exhibitions that are annually drawn from the association's membership committee. This year the Art Show will have top names like and exibitions like "Arman at Sperone Westwater Gallery, Birgit Jürgenssen at Fergus McCaffrey, and works by Norman Lewis at Michael Rosenfeld." You will find a vast amount of styles used by the artists, some more intriguing than others.

Freeze your hair contest, these people are cool (literally)!
To show the world how cold Canada really is, Takhini Hot Pools (yes, hot pools) decided to host a "Hair Freezing Contest". How it works is that participants dunk their hair in really hot water and then yank their head out to let it freeze in the air. Most people mold their hair into very interesting hairstyles as it gets harder in the chilly wind. As with most things in life, one strives to do things as best as they can. Which is why, The Hot Pools are letting people know how to get the best frozen hairstyles. "First, hair freezing is best when done in temperatures -20 Fahrenheit or colder. Any warmer and your hair may take too long to freeze" (Huffington Post). Contestants are judged on their creativity and craziness.

As with all contests, this one does come with a prize and the winner gets to go home with $700 (that they'll probably spend on a barber and sauna visit). The contest has been run annually ever since 2011 but has only recently gone "viral" on social media because of the badass hairstyles this year. Would you want to go do something like this or is it just something you're fine watching?
