Getting pointers to strings of a application

I know how to get pointers to changing digits (like ammo and health) using cheat engine, but how would I get pointers to changing strings? I tried to apply the same method but it doesnt work so well, I meant Im able to get the curent address, but cant find the static address

Same general method. If you can find the structure the string is apart of (if any), you can find a pointer to the structure and then add the offset to the string. Otherwise you can use CE's pointer scan functionality to find a pointer. Those are probably the easiest way to do it.

Yea, Im using CE to find it, but when ever I try to find the address, none of the result matches up
