Cracking Password Protected .Zip Files?

So as far as I know, the only really way to crack into a password protected .zip file is by brute forcing it. I looked around and password cracker programs for .zip files are basically brute forcers. Funny this is, these programs cost around $30 which is stupid high in my opinion.

Now I don't want to buy any program because I know there are brute forcers out there that does the exact same thing. All I need is a program that does this. Is anyone here good with cracking and wants to help me out? The other sections are pretty dead so I doubt I'll find an answer there anytime soon.

If bruteforcing isn't the only way for this, you can just hire a coder to create a more functional cracker for you.

Anyways, if I could make my own cracker I would. Don't have that much time on my hands nor do I know anything about cracking.

I remember researching this and finding something that could just extract it but let me go check and see if it can extract .zip files

Edit: RIP I think it stopped being able to extract password protected files so yea... but I'll go search and see if I can find anything else

Edit 2: @Predator Well it apparently works Heres a guide:

 

So first get NSIS from here https://sourceforge.net/projects/nsi...p.exe/download
After installing it open it and click Installer based on ZIP file under Compression

Click "Open..." and then find your password protected ZIP file
In the bottom right click Generate and then it will generate a .exe click on that and it will install the contents of the ZIP to the same directory

Can confirm it works have done this multiple times to test

Thanks, I tested it out and it sorta works.

The problem is the contents within the .zip gets wiped out. For example, any .html or .txt files are completely empty. Not sure if this is happening with you. Let me know.

Don't think so, I don't have any anti-virus programs on. I only have one system to test it on as well.

If you want, maybe you could try it as well?

I feel like there is no point to trying to bruteforce. Usually, if its not a free product, the password is just random letters and numbers.

Not sure for some reason when I create my own .zip files NSIS just says error extracting or something. Try downloading the latest version here: https://nsis.sourceforge.net/Download (not sure if that works) if that doesn't work you can PM with the file and I can try extracting it on my computer if you want
