easiest way to program Android games?

i recently got a hold of Android Studio. my goal is to make a simple game.
but its way to complicated, i spent hours trying to figure out why the entire program shows errors(even tho i didn't type a single line of code) and after all that i wasn't able to even program a simple button.

    is their an easier IDE?

If you're getting errors without a single line of code, it sounds like you might not have the correct dependencies installed. I'd have to see the error messages to know for sure

You can try out BuildBox - Doesn't require ANY form of coding
But, as Hell_Demon suggested, then Unity is a great tool aswell and if I remember right, then it's free too!

Those errors aren't because of your codes it's probably because you don't have certain things installed that is needed for the program to function properly.

Easiest way is Unity, the more efficient method is XAMARIN but it sucks balls at beginning.

Okay if you want to make a game you should look in to game engines if you have a bit of coding experiences or want to get in to programming c# go with unity.
If you not in too the hole coding aspect go with unreal engine they have a visual form of coding called blueprints. The advantage of using game engines is you dont need to code stuff like physics light sources ...

    **In My Opinion**
Android studio is probably the worst application to make a game with, not saying it's impossible, but utilitarian apps are what android studio is best at. I personally have never enjoyed using Java, but that may be due to my true lack of experience using it.

I would agree with anyone that says to use Unity, as it has built in tools to make games that work cross platform, with minor tweaks to the controls. It will still take some time to get used to the unity engine, and how to access all of it's elements, but it integrates flawlessly with VisualStudio (a free, top of the line IDE used for a multitude of different languages, namely C# since that is what powers most unity games.)

Check out tutorials on YouTube, there are tons of them, and most of them are packed with helpful information.

The easiest way? IMO is Gamemaker, its drag and drop system takes less than an hour to learn and the GML stuff gives you more flexibility to customize things. If you want to make a simple block breaking game, for example, it can be done in a day no problem.
