Keep the sig balanced and use a white border on the black side.

i found the render from a manga ... the whole shit was black and white... =/ soo i turned it little blue-ish added text and inner glow/shadow... alien edge border-ish but it looked weird so i put a black line border nothing much ... i know didn't add anything much to to...

I think the signature definitely shows the mood of the render, but I think it would be better if the white wasn't so empty and not just full of brushes try reading some tutorials on blending the render with your sig and doing some more advanced brushes and effects.

Also the text is alright, but it seems that it's jagged and distorted.
