yes, although you will only see the changes, just go to the skin xml and look where it says File and Index, the file is what sprite sheet file its in, and the index is where it points to on the sprite sheet

I was just wondering how to update the client. How do you obtain the source code from the original swf file?

I have two questions: How does one create their own in-game items? And often when I make changes the client then becomes nonresponsive/unable to work but others the changes work fine and then I have to download the client... I usually edit script and then save... am I wrong to do this?

If you mean creating custom items, you have to use a Pserver. You could edit sprites in a Prod Client (I think) but it'll be a client-side reskin

Anyways, this wouldn't work on a P-Server, and if it did, then you would need a lot of remaking.
