Combat Training progress issue

Gents,
Please advise,
Got official Steam version of BO1, playing combat training.
Downloaded some mods like UTC1.3 or 4xRawxMoDz which work fine but the progress (rank,COD points, achievements) of each round is not saved and resets every round, hence cant progress to level up?
Is this a glitch or normal for Mods?

Anyone? Gents have i described it clearly or is it a bit confusing. Could really do with some help on this
