Steps to get almost any hack working:
1. Run as admin(not for this one, just listing generally)
2. Verify Game Cache files
3. Delete files(for textures) then verify, replacing them, and follow the instructions again
4. Follow the instructions word for word
5. restart steam
6. restart PC

Hmm i had 1.3 running online and wanted to try 1.4 so i overwrote everything with the 1.4 files. Joined a game and got the error message. Then i deleted all the files and put my backup in the folders since warezdude said to try with a clean install. After owerwriting the clean files with the 1.4 files again im still getting an error message... and restarting steam dindnt work for me. So what can i still do to make it work ?

what did you exactley install, from addons? like scopes, camo's ?

the _00 - _07 folders, the thermovision, red dot, and acog ah yeah and the black scope (sniper scope)

getting same error. i added all the files in the iw directories of your textures.
i added holographic textures, thermal, and custom sniper scopes too.
Hope verifying these files will get this to work.

P.S. I installed this over 1.3, maybe this could be the issue.

Nope your Rank is saved on Steam Cloud @ your account

I don't think so, everything is on the steam cloud.
The data will be restored from their servers.

okay i just checked the files iw_00 untill iw_07, and they work.
im now gonna look in the customstuff
