Apparently the climate accord was only suppose to bring the temperatures down by 0.05% however that was proven to be a bogus statistic. There was nothing floating bit of information stating other countries would increase emissions while America is the only one going to cut their emissions. This was also utterly false, considering China has already started investing into innovation since they understand the overall benefits of promoting green innovation, specifically the economic benefits.
Also we haven't actually pulled out the Climate Accord. When Obama signed onto it there was a clause in place so the next US president if he attempts to pull out will not be able to write the official notice to do so until 11/4/19. The only way for trump to pull out of the agreement sooner is to pull out the Framework Convention treaty, or to say Obama overstepped his authority and have the senate vote to pull out. It's notable many US States specifically california and Pittsburgh (lmao) are going to continue their progress in meeting the goals of Climate Accord.
South Carolina will as well.
