Glitched Room DoT/HoT Flip?

So I'm farming Chained Kezeroth at /join icepike in a glitched room. I've got an alt afk and I'm soloing using StoneCrusher. I've killed him quite a few times, but now when I try to kill him, HE gets the HoT and occasionally heals himself, and I get an insane DoT put on me. It's almost like he's an entirely new boss. He now kills me every time I try to kill him. Is this some way of the game working against the glitched room? I'm not sure, but farming this boss is annoying as it is, let alone with this problem.


Excuse the rainbow of sentences. Idk why, but I felt like putting it like that. I found the color option and then got carried away. Sorry.

Update Note: So... my Land's Embrace is what causes the DoT, so I can only assume my abilities of which should be causing a DoT are causing him a HoT instead. Still not sure why the effects are flipped though.

The boss was either updated or, very least likely, the glitch has been overturned. (for that room or in other cases)
Thinking about it, have you tried any other classes with DoTs/HoTs?

It can't be an update, because it happened out of nowhere and was working fine before. Also, Shaman's 2 skill also causes DoT instead of HoT.

Well this is pretty strange, no more ideas except for finding the minimum back and forths for the glitch.
I can't test it because I have no viable account. Is that the only boss with your issue?

Are you in the normal servers or the test servers?
Cuz' there's a thing that happens in the test servers where if you had an ability that can stack and if you stack it to max and let it fade, the effects will become negative.
eg. you get negative haste, you get DoT instead of a HoT, you enemy could heal itself instead of DoT, etc.
It only happens if you let it fade while at max stack.

Maybe that's whats happening to you?
Strange though since the forums say that it's already been fixed so I have no idea why it's happening to you.

It was on Artix, which makes it even more strange.
