Its only possible if your friend's password is a common password. If his password is like qwerty123 then you can crack it. However, if his password is like Mega90sDancing3#!, then its basically impossible. Cracking only works 2 ways. Either you breached another vulnerable website can obtain that website's username and password (now you hope that the person used the same username and password on minecraft) or you bruteforce (have a list of common passwords/generate random passwords and try and guess a user's password). Honestly, I'd say its pretty hard to crack a very very specific account.

I also can't link you a tutorial as there are usually download links in the tutorial. So you just have to search it up on youtube yourself
