BTC at 5k by Monday?

What do you guys think? Uber's entrance into BTC might just make other companies follow their footsteps. BTC at 20k in 5 years.

BTC will not go past 10k, another fork or new dapp will come along and dominate. I garuntee you this, so you're going to have play it day by day as we've been doing. Don't expect BTC to last forever, the push we're seeing will continue for a while but in the next year or two new dapps will be developed and ETH will push up very fast.

I said in my previous thread ETH will surpass BTC, I stand by that statement on the basis of belief that people will continue to advance crypto.

You could be right. I feel a little more safe with BTC as of right now. The developers are starting to realize their mistakes and have started scaling bitcoin the right way (or at least a small step in the right direction). ETH no doubt has a bright future a head of itself, but it will take a huge issue to crash make another alt coin surpass bitcoin. Though bitcoin's market cap is rising extremely fast. In my opinion, I don't see any coin surpassing Bitcoin for at least 10 years.

Literally all depends on the popularity versus the code.

If code improves faster than popularity rises then ETH will surpass BTC. That's what I'm hoping for. It'll benefit all of us, even if BTC becomes rivaled by ETH. Ultimately our goal is to become so big that the US government cannot ignore us.

Huge investors like mark cuben and now uber are getting interested in the crpyto space. I think all old coins will rise a lot when in the years to come when businesses start to realise its potential. Then the government might not ignore it (but obviously after trump is elected out, because blockchain to him is fake, its something china made to brainwash us).

I don't think bitcoin will last forever tbh. However with more and more businesses getting involved I think we may see it becoming a little more stable. However I think it's safe to say digital currencies, no matter what name they come under, are here to stay.

I agree with this statement completely. Bitcoin doesn't have a bright future as of right now. It needs some major changes so its more scalable. Digital currencies are here to stay until someone figures out an exploit in the blockchain theory (which I am starting to see)
