If we're going to talk about modern politics, the progressive left is trying to revamp the political system from grass roots level. If we're talking about economics, the progressive left has proposed actual balance of the US economy, something the right and moderate left continue to tip in favor on the rich. While the middle class pays more taxes, the rich will get more money from the government, while the poor are blamed for not being able to afford healthcare, education and food.

It was supposed to make you realize to not go to extremes and share the same flawed ideologies as the Alt-Left/Alt-Right. There aren't only 2 options to everything. We can't expect to get rid of hate and "nazis" by supporting Nazi like ideologies to fight them. If you take down your opposition but you have people with ideologies as the same as the Nazis you'll just have more Nazis. Alt-Left has a lot of people are racist just like the Alt-Right does.

Well it sounds to me this women is a pleb that doesn't understand economics so she can't express her self in an intellectual manner, but none the less she spoke up so good for her.


She's basically saying "hey we're like this because our leaders chose to rely on rich people spending their money, hoping that by redistribution wealth to the top that it may trickle down and help everyone. What really happen was they sat on their money and stagnated the economy. When the market shot down they racked up interest loans and then the loans were used to buy peoples houses which were then racked up even more. Ultimately what it caused was the housing market to collapse and sent us into a great recession. I'd like to propose that we redistribute the wealth back to the bottom so those middle class businesses can finally expand like the upper class businesses and corporations can. Trickle down doesn't help the man struggling to start and maintain a business, it helps the giant corporation that wants a few extra dollars so they can buy a few more politicians. The poor are the ones who spend their money, and typically work physically or mentally demanding jobs. If you redistribute wealth to the poor they'll spend their money and the middle class struggling businessman will finally be able to expand since none of the rich billionaire corps you expected to invest into him would"

Edit: Forgot to mention the banks, glass seagull was suppose to prevent banks from spending peoples money when they couldn't replace it, but they removed it so 8 years later the banks could invest non-stop.

The government needs to steal back the stolen money from the rich and give it back to the majority of people it was stolen from. Hope that helps put things into perspective.

the government by all rights, owns every cent in this country. Them taking money from you for taxes, or rather them stealing from you for funding, is by all means ethical and moral since it's the Government doing so. I didn't watch the whole video cuz it was cringe, but what she started off by saying capitalism is bad because it breaks the backs of brown and black people ain't untrue. Statistically they got the most labor intensive and lowest paying jobs. People who own the land, are free to take advantage of this fact.

So the government she's talking about are white people that are normal human beings who happen to be white..? I honestly don't have any hope for this planet. People will always want what others have. The rich are the ones who provide jobs. If you tax them even more what do you think is going to happen? The problem isn't how much tax money we're getting. The problem is where the tax money is being used. The government should be spending less on the Military and more on social programs to help provide better a better education system. That shouldn't mean it should take money from hard-working people to give it to people who could get out of their situations if you want. Call me heartless or whatever you want. You can dig yourself out of anything if you have the ability to do so. As a first-generational Canadian my family had fuck all when they first immigrated here in the 80s. When people from Black Lives Matter say "kill all white people" "white people are to blame" and calling white lives "insignificant" it portrays Nazi ideologies. They got the most labor intensive and lowest paying jobs because they haven't been in the said country for that long. My mom had a degree obtained in another country but wasn't able to use it in Canada to practise as it wasn't valid. They understood and did jobs accordingly. It's the sad truth. If you want to move to a land of opportunity you have to sacrifice stuff. You plant a seed and you work hard to nurture and grow it so one day you can reap what you have sown. Thanks to my parents i'll be going to University for Computer Engineering because they struggled for me and for them to survive. I don't get why it's so hard to understand. If you're willing to move from one country to another to have something better but don't want to work for it why even move? The world is tough place. You've got to work hard and find your place or it'll kick you to your knees and push you back down every time you try to get up. I guess some people don't mind that as long they've got someone else to blame.
