if a simulation is able to simulate life this well why care? also i doubt you cant change anything about it even if youre aware that its a simulation
i also doubt the simulation will stop if theres people knowing thats its only one

Isn't real life just another level of simulation?

Doesn't really bother me tbh, simulation or not.
Well assuming that we are inside of a simulation an infinite loop of simulations would be extremely likely.

I actually did a speech on this once and it's fascinating, I personally do believe that we may be inside of a simulation but regardless of whether we are or not we may never find out But on the bright side if we are inside an exact simulation of a reality we are no different from that reality and therefore we are essentially in our own "reality".
never got glitched in a wall. so its gotta be false.
I don't give a fuck. As long as my simulation has anime, Im good.

i dont rly care, simulation or not, just live your life lmao
After thinking about it, I've concluded that the prospects of being in a simulation is what that means of the simulator.
Obviously there has to be reasons as to why we would be simulated.
1) Analysis. Maybe we and/or our universe is something of interest to some advanced intellectuals which means
a. These beings who are powerful enough to create our civilization aren't limitless bastions of knowledge but rather explorers and learners who, like us, have derived that logic and experimentation are one of the primary methods of learning. Realizing that even our "gods" are in certain aspects similar to us is enticing.
b. Humanity can be deconstructed, reassembled, and experimented with just like the rest of the world. We create simulations and experiments in our research. All of this involves either dead things or inhuman things. Take for example the simulations of how physics effects rocket science or experiments on how drugs effects lab rats. Seldom do we consider experimenting on humans (the image reminds us of Nazi-like cruelty) but in reality, we pretty much could be experimented with, deconstructed, and messed with if nothing more than for the sake of information. The idea is humbling and nihilistic but remains possible.
2) Recreation. Humans like recreation. We like thrilling novels of cruelty and overcoming evil. We like non-fiction stories of when there is no hope. We like to learn about the great epics of the past or the way history repeats itself.
Thus, it would be possible that our simulation is a simulation of a thrilling tale detailing our precarious state on a little blue dot and there is an invisible audience watching us in the future or past or present who is in awe as each and every one of our simulated consciousnesses change the way this epic changes in ever-shifting ways.
Maybe that is a bit too self-indulgent. Maybe we're just a side character in our simulated epic. But I believe that these post-humans who created us probably have developed (or created) characteristics for themselves that may seem godly to us (like omniscience to our universe) so I hope that they want their entire cast to feel like main characters.
Obviously this would mean that they mastered the art of simulating which has allowed them to use these simulations for more than just research but as recreation, philosophy, entertainment, or other empathetic and knowledgeable activities.
3)Indifference. Maybe our god is just the post-human equivalent of a teenage brat who got a pet hamster as a pet from their mom (obviously the situation is altered to make sense to how an ACTUAL post-human probably is like). The point is we're entirely expendable and easy to make. It doesn't really add much to what we already know about the universe's indifference to us except add another potential layer to what our origins could be. Too bad we can't get specific on this simulation theory or else we may have a working hypothesis on how our universe was created, "by x civilization using y device for z objective". Until we can fill those variables it is pretty much just a cool idea of the endless possibilities.
Obviously this assumes that our simulations are "easy" to make and are expendable.
