My 6 year old laptop is running like a piece of shit (duh!). I just re-downloaded Blade and Soul, and when I try to enter the game, it takes like 10 minutes to actually start, then it's laggy. Wasn't like this in the past. ANYWAY on to my main point.

I read a bunch of shit, ect, ect, fast forward.

And now I find myself running this program, that is "defragging and optimizing my PC".
I mean, I myself have no idea what this means; But what I really want to know is, am I wasting my time with this?
Will my laptop return with The Flash like qualities after this is done? Because I've been doing it for at least 14 hours and it's only 33% done.

Maybe someone can simplify what this means for a dumbass like myself. From my consensus, I think it's like, there's some junk on my HDD that is making it not run good? Thus this program (Smartdefrag5) is looking over my whole HDD and fixing it? I really don't know.

Game updates make games turn hungrier and hungrier, CPU and GPU performance-wise, throughout time. Also, yes, that program's purpose is to optimize your HDD.

Think of it as going to a library for car books but to find those books for some reason you have to sort through 10 times as many books about airplanes and boats. It'll take you way longer than if there were just car books. The airplane and boat books are all the crap the defrag is removing from tour HDD.

It's just your PC bruh, probably the specs aren't good enough to run games anymore. You can try resetting your entire PC if it's getting too slow. I had to do that for my old laptop a few times
