Hacking killers with HxD?

i know about steam crack, but i don't know if its 100% secure, so this came in mind( i know nothing it's secure when it comes to hack but), is possible to hack killers with HxD? (get them buying the dlc)

Steamcrack is so bad, HxD method is so much better and atleast it doesnt break whole steam..
