tbh this one really hits deep for me.

small storytime: so i've never experienced anybody related to me dying, which is why this one hit hard for me.
My grand grandmother is currently 93, and recently (i found out around a month ago) she got diagnosed with some kind of cancer, which of course meant that she's dying.
this hit hard on me because as i said, i've never really experienced anything like it that i can remember (grandpa died when i was 2)
so since it happened i've visit her twice, the first time she knew i would come, but the second one she didnt know, and this i where that image comes, when i stepped into the room and she saw me, i just saw this smile appear on her face, and that is something i might just remember forever, because i actually just felt so happy when i saw her smile like that, first of all because it makes me happy to know that shes happy, and second of all, because i knew it meant she remembered me.

that was the last time i saw her. my mother and grandmother (her daugther) agreed that i shouldnt see her, because its come to the point where she wouldnt recognize me, and my last memory of her should be when she knew who i was, which is also part of the reason why that image stuck with me.

so yeah thats the one image i will always remember.
