Dosen't work for me. I run this ATT and configure it like you write in first post. I double click on BF BC2 shourtc the autoupdater run and check for update. When it done the game is running but this is all of that. Is black screen and game not responding and close .

I had a similar problem, so i shutdown (exit) ATT. Settings won't disappear if you close it, but a game runs without problems.

Am I the only one who has trees and bushes which look like yellow squares with these settings? My system: Win 7 64bit, HD5870, Catalyst 10.3.

Laguna Presa is perfect, no squares. But there is many, e.g., in Panama Canal.

No idea where that comes from, there must be some extra features added to Panama in opposition to laguna, maybe the sandstorm thing :ee:

I have also the Problem with the yellow squares around bushes. You can't see the enemys behind the "box".

Koen, eventuelly you can send us your settings?

it works great for every map except for the map Isla Incontes.

For me the trees there just are big brown blocks, so it is even harder to spot enemys. On the other maps though, it works great!. Any ideas?

EDIT: It happens on more maps, just not on maps like valparaiso

[ty and btw heres a tip. i got the same res as you and i would suggest the fov to 78. it is recommended for that resolution.

Now for people who have problems with the green/yellow/blue/purple boxes. Go into a game, click ESC and change your settings, heres the thing. If you have high on, change it to low and the boxes should be gone. if your settings are low change them to high. Now after a round you will have the boxes again or colorful guns ( you will be high ) just do the same thing and it should fix. i have done this for 6 rounds and it works. if it doesnt, then dont even try this anymore it wont work.]

Also,you need to tune the HBAO(whatever you are using ATI/Nvidia) and VSYNC

I am using ATI Radeon 4890,but I solved the colour box promblem by Nvidia method.(XD)
Although HBAO is for Nvidia card,it still related to ATI.(lol)
HBAO,is usually turned on.
VSYNC,is sometimes turend on.(For example,you need to both of them turned on in Africa Harbour and Atxxxx Desert)

The problem of weird colour box mainly is caused by graphic settings(High,low,medium).
Therefore,you need to turn one of a setting low(You have already in the game,press ESC for Opition),then back to the game,then back to the Opition,turned one of a setting high.Each of the setting,you need to turned high.

If you have the problem of some shine weapons,shine water/skys become black,
you need to turn on/off HBAO or VSYNC.
