Is VAC dead on Black Ops 2?

i guess they stopped adding signatures of older games to database for vac and bo2 is getting older so they do not work as hard to make public cheats detected for it, for example they have csgo to deal with now

VAC is dead on Black Ops 2 (for undetected and new cheats) but TAC is alive

My cheat tool "Revised Orbital Vsat" was released about 6 months ago and to this day no one got banned except this one person who was TAC ban instead. Some people even said that they used it since release and there's still no ban.

Does this mean VAC is dead?

I mean I did code my program in a unique way so it could be possible that the way I coded my cheat somehow confused/bypass VAC which I doubt. But shouldn't VAC detect memory modifications?

Which one do you think it is?

p.s. I know it usually take weeks or months to get ban from a public cheat but it has been 6 months, I've never seen a public cheat last so long. And by now VAC should've already have my cheat on their database and use signature ban to ban people which didn't happen for some reason.

Just going to chime in and say that VAC does not do any kind of "cheat- scanning" in and by itself. It requires cheats to be uploaded and analyzed before they will be processed and detected by VAC. This is stated in multiple places in the steamworks documentation:
