    Fitness Coaching

I never even knew mpgh had a fitness section, I usually only come to this website to release my inner nerd lmao.
    But here goes nothing

When I was 14 years old I found myself in a dark place, I was about 80 pounds overweight and I hated my life. I was insecure in every aspect, I was bullied and I didn't even see a point to living. When I was at my darkest point someone sent me a video about how fitness changed their life and it lit a fire inside me beyond anything I was ever ready for. From then on I was a changed person, I busted my ass in the gym and worked on my diet from that day forward. Fast forward 5 years and I am doing fitness as a living with one hell of a physique and I am in love with my life. Fitness is the greatest thing I have in my life and I would recommend anyone to begin living a "healthy lifestyle". Personally I choose to eat healthy and workout not only because I love it and the results it bears, but it is so much better for the body and can enhance your lifespan, quality of life, and just every aspect of life overall.

With this being said, I would like to offer my knowledge and experience with fitness to reach out and help anyone who would like some guidance on trying to get out of their comfort zone and get into the gym. If anyone would like some 1 on 1 coaching and or has just general fitness tips I am down to help anyone I can, because when I was overweight and super depressed I could have used someone to help me get motivated and help me learn the ropes.

SO if anyone wants some help feel free to @ me on this thread and we can talk on skype or whatever we need to.

    Peace out!
    Sasori~

Hey sasori, good to hear you're feeling better nowadays! Reading your post cheered me up!
May I ask what kind of exercise you did when you started fitness? There are tons of awesome resources online (programs, daily routine, etc.) but they are often made by people that were very skinny/slim to begin with. Like, they are saying their programs are for "beginners", but I think there's a difference between "beginner, skinny, I can't run marathon daily" and "beginner, overweight, I feel exhausted after going up a few stairs".

Well if you just wanted to get a basic start on fitness without buying a gym membership and everything, you could do calisthenics,
such as push ups, sit ups, pull up, and even jumping jacks or jogging. Doing things like this won't yield the most results but definitely are better than doing nothing.

For me gaining weight isn't really the problem because if you eat enough you will grow. But you've got to ask yourself, is it muscle & fat your growing? Mostly muscle? Or even mostly fat? This is what makes gaining weight the hardest.
