Sorry - The bot won't run on wine. It will only run on a proper windows installation. You would have to install windows on a virtual machine or dual boot if you want to use the bot.

This sounds like poor performance due to a bad connection (I have the same issue). I'm not sure how to fix it to be honest - I'll look into it though.

I have created a minor update for the bot which includes the following improvements:

• Daily (and monthly) quest completion can now be checked using the new ScriptQuests.IsDailyComplete function (see docs in script editor)
• Added player targetting/killing (ScriptPlayer.AttackPlayer and ScriptPlayer.KillPlayer).

You can target players (and attack players in PvP ONLY) through the scripting interface. There is no option for it as you suggest. If you are saying you cannot find it in the autocomplete in the script editor, please ensure you have downloaded the latest version of the bot.

Yes i know it can only target players but i am having troubles on how to use it. Are you able to give me more information on how to use that feature? or just give me an example on using the script

If you create a new script the following line will target a player with the name 'test':

bot.Player.AttackPlayer("test");

Outside of PvP, this will target the player rather than attack them.

Hello Rodit! I have been using your bot and I absolutely love it. I've coded some bots for it and I find it very efficient and even easier to use than other bots. I sent you an email for quite some while ago, but you never responded to it.

But there is one thing I'd like to request and it's in the Player class. Could you perhaps add a reconnect() function, I know there's an auto-relogin but it doesn't really run the script after reconnecting you to the game and some players get frequently disconnected. I know there's login() and connect() methods but I think that the reconnect function will be more code efficient and spare some time than writing it out each time.


Also another great feature would be to add hotkeys to the run scripts or load scripts making it more IDE-like, cause it can get annoying sometimes to have to click and find the scripts tab and then stopping the script and enabling it again.


I have furthermore noticed a bug in your botting tool, whenever you get disconnected, the script is still running which sometimes disconnects player upon connecting to the game again. I find it to be an issue because you have waited for more than a minute to login and then you get disconnected just because you forgot to stop the script before logging in.


Unfortunately, I have not noticed anything more and I do hope that you could fix some of aforementioned issues.

I apologize for not replying to your email - I don't check that account very often. Thank you very much for your suggestions - I have had some trouble with the auto relogin feature as sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't; I haven't quite worked out why that is. I will continue to look into the issue and fix it properly and, when I have done this, I will introduce an option of whether the script should be restarted, as well as an event for when the player disconnects and reconnects to server.

A hot key system would be very easy to implement so I will definitely add this for the next release as well (with configurable bindings, obviously). Please let me know if you have any further suggestions!

I can run the .exe but when I log in, the program is stuck on Authenticating user, I've seen others get this issue with Grimoire.

While Grimoire 3.8 works 100% fine, I cannot authenticate using G 3.9 or Rbot.
