I've been noticing MPGH goes down sometimes. Which I guess is expected considering how big MPGH is, but would alleviating the bandwidth caused by IM help the uptime issues?

Yeah IM chat is cool and all but I'd really prefer to choose my own way of contacting people...

For whenever updates are done, some suggestions:


Custom Groups
Custom sorting option for contacts
Read receipts
A report chat functionality
Notifications that you have unread messages if you're not logged into IM
User status

I understand suggestions are easy to spew, implementation is a whole another thing but these functionalities will really be useful.

Oh sorry! i wasn't aware of this fund raising thing for the improvement of the chat.
But it's really bad right now, a lot of important features are missing.
It's so damn hard to trace why you added someone, notifications, etc. if they can fix this, or at least have continuous updates, members will no longer opt to use other messengers.
But oh well, this is their site, you just have to use/follow everything.

We would love a Windows app connects to IM ?

a Notification without being in MPGH (like i said in Windows) a Mobile Version to get reply to people if your out.

Alot of features is not added up and the IM who keeps getting disconnecting and slow servers...

Or just allow the use of normal programs to communicate like any other digital forum does.
Because the chat is so chunky to use, you can't even copy/past a list in it so giving people info for a sold account needs to be done line by line etc.

Don't get wrong, i like the idea of the forum having control over the chats which can be used as proof in-case there is a scam going.
Sadly it doesn't help in this case and is only annoying and preventing sales since you need to be with a open webpage all the time to communicate.

No, it's already too far, none other "communicate services" are supposed to be used for these things, it's so easy to scam and remove all messages.

Seems like IM is currently down. I have already notified Dave so please be patient. It will likely just require restarting the service.
