Aight. I'm gonna make this quick and simple. We all know what Ventrilo Is and If not, well Ventrilo is a proprietary VoIP program which allows users to talk to each other, similar to a telephone conference call, but the conference call is made via VoIP. A microphone and speakers, or a headset, must be connected to each person's computer to use the program.

Ok, The downside to Ventrilo is that you have to pay for it. Sure, there have been Youtube videos on how to get Ventrilo for free but they are only 8 Slots for 8 People which kind of sucks if you have a clan in CrossFire which consists of more than 8 people.

Aha, now heres the solution! ImVOX! ImVOX voice chat software allows up to 30 video gamers to voice chat for free, while the paid subscription option allows for up to 250 gamers at a time to voice chat for $24.99 a year. imVOX is compatible with Microsoft’s Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 but is not currently capable of running on Apple’s own MacOS X.

Pretty cool huh? 30 slots for 30 people for free! Way more than 8. And if you pay $24.99 you get 250 slots. But still 30 is enough.

Ok, now this is what you do, go to:

Voice Chat Alternative - imVOX

Download the free plan and install ImVox, when you install, register. After you have registered you are pretty much done. But you have to make a server and password is optional and when you make your server, people can go to find find server and connect to your server and you talk to your friends, clan mates etc. You can make rooms in your server like Pub #1, 2, 3, Scrim #1, 2, 3 etc. Its basically like Ventrilo and is the equivalent to Ventrilo.

I hope you guys take an interest In ImVOX and try using it. But for personally, I like Ventrilo better.
