guys, i need help when i play crossfire my computer always freezes and it gets agravating to play and so now i can only play at my friends house. does anyone know how to fix this problem?

you might have a virus in your pc or your pc is slow... if it's slow download a gamebooster would help a lot

Try doing a full re-install. If that doesn't work then re-download the game.

A. Ctrl = Alt + Del
Typically it's normal for a game application to "Hog" the System Resources, If something else is "hogging" them, take note and let us know what it is

B. Computers get typically slower as time goes on, optimizing your machine may be a good idea, game boosters have a tendency to do what you can do manually, but if it helps, give it a shot

C. Do a Google search for Pc Pit Stop, Run the free online optimization tool, take their advice, with some minor exceptions, they are spot on when locating issues with performance.

D. Every Month I backup my PC to a DvD and individually back up the important files I may need at any given moment (using windows BackUp for PC backup, and External Harddrives for other applications, content, etc) then for performance optimization I will reinstall my copy of windows.

E. You may get suggestions from those "Savy" enough to offer it up as they will be "Experts" to perform a defrag, don't... statistically it is not going to help you , in fact , in some cases it could cause issues, Defrag is built for windows, and based on windows TOS installing 3rd party applications not approved by microsoft breaks your agreement, so keeping that in mind and understanding what a defrag does (in parts) it is a bad idea, they can't get everything right, and if the defrag doesn't it could cause a real hassle

Conclusion: PC Pitstop, If that doesn't help, back up and redo your PC, I have a certain understanding, when you get to a certain point where everything is going much slower, you can "Make It Better" but it will never be as good as it was the first day.

Check for viruses.
Check if you got all the requirements.
Format your computer.(save your important files on a pendrive or something like that.)

download the gae again and install, see that works..
