The first method works, and I ended up being rank 1 survivor with no pips.
Unfortunately, I can't get back down, as whenever I change the number of pips to 1 and then press commit changes, it reloads showing that I still have 85 pips (and when I go back in game, I'm still rank 1).

Anyone know how to solve this? Red ranks are sooo bad to play in.

Look our at ur actions. I tried to up my rank, and it's successful(now I'm killing everyone with Nurse xD).

no you don't have to bypass, just close all games from steam .

Excuse me, but this can be Baneable. If you do it the first time and Steam's achievements have never been achieved.

I would say that you put your profile private before doing it, but even so we all know that the achievements of all the profiles (even if the profiles are private), the achievements of each player are still public.

So I would tell them not to go up from rank 20 to 1. Do it on separate days, rank 10 a day, another day rank 5, another day rank 1.

I repeat, only if you have never achieved those achievements on Steam. So they do not raise so much suspicion.
