Minecraft Marketplace Rules

Seller/WTS/WTB/WTT threads (SELLER'S MUST READ):

• Must have proof (Not needed for WTB Threads) - All services, accounts, or products all require proof on the thread. If you are selling multiple account types, you must provide proof for all account types. Refer to the "Providing proper proof" section.
• Must include price & Payment Methods - All products and services require a price and the payment methods they accept. If it is an auction, it requires the opening bid price. This rule may exclude some WTB and WTT threads.
• Must have your MPGH Instant Messenger Chat embeded - When selling you are required to embed your MPGH Instant Messenger Chat Link using the tags. Example:

• Bump once every 24 hours - Only bump your thread once per 24 hours! Replying to customers on your thread is considered a bump. If you would like to reply to them, edit your last message and quote them.
• Forbidden items/services - You are not permitted to sell Gift Codes, Hacks/Mods/Clients.
• NPCVend Autobuys Only - The only autobuy links allowed are autobuys from NPCVend. Otherwise, just have your MPGH Instant Messenger link embeded,
• No Lifetime warranties - Lifetime warranties are forbidden on MPGH. You may provide a warranty, as long as it has a specific time frame.
• No duplicate threads - You can only open one thread for all products (accounts, keys etc). You may have one additional thread for all services (minecraft server votes etc). Meaning 2 threads total, one for all products, and one of all services.
• Minimum requirements for services - To start a service (ie. not selling items, things such as MinecraftServer Votes etc) you must have at least 1 month registered on the site and 50 posts. If you do not meet these requirements, you can bypass them by providing a vouch copy to a staff member.
• Inactive sales threads - If the seller has not replied or bumped his/her thread for more than a month, the shop is considered closed. Staff have the right to leave the thread to die or close it and mark it as sold. If you decide you would like to re-open your shop, you may message a staff member to re-open the thread.

Requesting A Thread Edit:
After 24 hours of your post or thread creation, you will not be able to edit it. This feature is there to prevent possible rule breaking content being added. Your thread edits after the 24 hour mark will have to be done my MPGH staff.

Report the thread by pressing the report icon below the post and mention you wanted it edited and provide the new pastebin link.

Reminder, if anything on the edit violates rules, it will be ignored. If a minion accidentally misses violated rules, that is still your responsibility and the thread will be closed/deleted. Minions aren't there to proof read thread edit requests, if it slips past them then your threads WILL be closed/deleted. You may request your thread to be re-opened/un-deleted with thread contents that meet the rules.

Posting Rules:

• No scamming - Scamming will not be tolerated, period.
• Scam reports go in the Scammer Grave - If you have been scammed by a user, don't post in their thread as you will make us do nothing but delete your post. Instead make a report in the: Scammers Grave section.
• Use official middleman - If in yourtrade, you require a middleman (escrows), they must be certified by MPGH. All middlemen have an official middleman image title.
• Don't hijack threads - This means asking for non-related help on a selling thread or saying "COME CHECK OUT MY ACCOUNTS!", etc.
• No false/misleading reviews - No posting false or misleading reviews (this includes not being a buyer, deliberately misleading members, being affiliated with another seller, inaccurately harming a sellers reputation, or any deceptive practices to hurt a seller).
• No self vouching - No self vouching yourself or your own threads.
• Vouchers must meet requirements - You must have at least 20 posts to vouch. Any vouches which do not have at least 20 posts will be considered as invalid and your post will be deleted immediately. This is NOT the same thing as a vouch copy. This is if a user has PURCHASED an item from the seller and wants to leave a vouch.
• No derogatory remarks - No posting derogatory remarks regarding in any seller thread. Keep it informative and neutral.[/B]
• E-books must be approved - All e-books must under go approval. You must provide an approval copy by attaching your e-book to the sales thread for MPGH staff to look over. The attached copy will be deleted after approval.

What to do if you have been Scammed:

 

1. Read the Reporting a Scammer thread.
2. Create a thread in the Scammers Grave using the format provided in the "Reporting a Scammer" thread.
3. Marketplace moderators will try to solve the issue. If the seller does not comply with the moderators judgement, they will be banned.

Providing Proper Proof:

 

• Migrated account: you must log onto Mojang or the Minecraft website and screenshot one or more of your accounts logged in. Sensitive information may be partially blurred but you must screenshot the whole screen.
• Full access migrated account: you must log onto Mojang and screenshot your account's page. This screenshot must clearly show that you have full access to security questions or that there are no security questions set. Sensitive information may be partially blurred but you must screenshot the whole screen.
• OG usernamed account: you must log, Mojang or the Minecraft website and screenshot all accounts logged in. Sensitive information may be partially blurred but you must screenshot the whole screen.
• Unmigrated alt account: you must show the main Minecraft client screen (the screen that says "play"), as well as a screenshot of that account logged into a popular server such as Mineplex with your account logged in saying "Hello world of Minecraft".
• Unmigrated full access account: you must provide a log into the Minecraft.net website and screenshot the Profile page to prove that its unmigrated. You must also provide a screenshot of a successful password change to prove you have the original e-mail address. You can do this by going to the Password Change page. Sensitive information may be partially blurred but you must screenshot the whole screen.
• Ranked/special account: you must log onto the Mojang or the Minecraft website and screenshot every one of your accounts logged in. You must also provide a screenshot showing the rank/special feature on the account. If its a ranked account, please say "MPGH Your username" in chat. Sensitive information may be partially blurred but you must screenshot the whole screen.
• Service:, you are required to provide one or more vouch copies to eligible members.
• MineCon cape:, you are required to log into a popular server, such as mineplex and show off the cape with your username visible. You must also say "MPGH Your username" in chat. You must then log into the Minecraft.net website and screenshot the entire Profile page. Sensitive information may be partially blurred but you must screenshot the whole screen.

Prefixes:

 

• Always use the correct prefixes.
• Ensure that you have either one of the 3 prefixes ([WTS], [WTT], [WTB]) attached to your thread

Meanings of each Marketplace prefix:
[WTS] = Wanting To Sell. If you are selling something.
[WTT] = Wanting To Trade. If you want to trade something (eg. 1 Netflix account for 1 Unmigrated account).
[WTB] = Wanting To Buy. If you want to buy something specific with a specific price range.
[SCAMMER] = The user who made the post has either scammed another user or has a unresolved scammed report against their name.
[SOLD] = The items/services have been either sold or stopped.

Account types/Terms & Staying Safe:

 

• Unmigrated accounts are accounts that have not been migrated from Minecraft.net to Mojang. These account generally suggest the account hasn't been used in years. In order to migrate an unmigrated account, you will need the original e-mail address, username, password and security question. Once migrated, the account becomes a full access account. In saying this, unmigrated accounts that only have the username and password, are still usable. However, in this case it would be considered an alt.
• Migrated accounts aka Alts are accounts which have been already migrated to Mojang. These accounts are generally just used to play Minecraft. You cannot do anything other than play Minecraft. You cannot change the skin, password, security question etc.
• Full access Minecraft account are accounts which have been already migrated to Mojang. However, it has full access, meaning you can change the password, e-mail, skin etc. Generally when you purchase the account, you will be given the answers to the security questions and in some cases the TID (refer to the definition of TID below).
• OG/Semi-OG Accounts are accounts with a cool words. Generally that are one word without numbers, hyphens or underscores.
• Optifine Cape are capes provided by optifine (a very popular mod). These are only visible to those who have the optifine mod. Generally, the seller will transfer someone else's cape onto your optifine account. The actual price of an optifine cape from the official store is $10.
• MineCon Cape accounts are accounts which has a Minecon Cape. Meaning the original owner had attended MineCon and/or recieved a MineCon cape gift voucher to got a MineCon Cape. These accounts are rare! So make sure you get the seller to log onto a popular server with you, to see they are not scamming you.
  
• TID: TID stands for Transaction ID. This ID is given to you when you originally purchase the account from Mojang themselves. Seller who claim an account comes with the TID may be lying as there is no definitive way to check if the TID is valid (as e-mail proof can be spoofed).
• General Tip: Every account you purchase can be taken back by its original owner because the original owner will have the TID. If one has the TID, they essentially own the account.
