Should I watch Anime?

anime's pretty cool, i barely watch anime but occasionally 4-5 times a year ill watch a short series one because I think when they're shorter it adds more depth to the story because its not being dragged over 500 repeated episodes.

good short animes to start with are
Erased, it's about 12 episodes i think (mystery, thriller kinda anime)
Barakamon is like 18 episodes or something (more slice of life, relaxing/comedy)
"Is it wrong to pick up girls in a dungeon" is a good anime too, despite the edgy anime title its actually a good show lol (action/fantasy a bit)

It can't hurt to try it , I'm not a big anime fan but I love Dragonball and Naruto so I'd say start with those.

I'd try watching a couple of anime if you haven't watched it before. My recommendation would be to watch Death Note. While not as well known like Dragon Ball Z or Naruto, the show doesn't go on for too long, and there are a few advantages to watching this if you're unsure about the genre. Unlike the two shows mentioned above, Death Note is significantly shorter, while retaining a gripping plot. It is also well regarded by the majority of fans for the intricate game of cat and mouse that various characters play against one another. Through these dynamics, we get to see the mentality of each character that's involved in these mind games and how they have developed through their experiences.
