    newbie question

    straight to the question
    i've got some codes i am actually trying to learn coding through them buy for some of them it asks me to use a GNU compiler and i am pretty much stuck, tried to use mingw but i actually don't understand how to use a gnu compiler with visual studio,
    can anybody help?
    and do you guys know some other way of fixing this?

    i actually feel like a complete retard asking how to compile shit but help xD
