Do you have the old files inside the game folder? Maybe in a folder you forgot about?

Works well but it does make me reinstall/verify the game every time I restart steam/pc.

with this I am unable to join any mp server as it kicks me when i try to join also in the browser it shows i need all the dlc's even tho it says i have them and am able to play them with editor and campaign ect. i am getting kicked then the game closes with the same error as petro a few posts above is getting. any ideas? also notable when I go to the battleeye tab it says it fails to load the steamapi files you provided. do I need to disable battleeye? tho if that's the case we couldn't really play on majority mp servers at all

update- this method was working fine for me prior to my attempt to join a mp server and agreeing to BE terms. since then the game fails to launch stating the original steamapi files are not present. ive validated game files and it will launch however upon adding these files again it returns to the same problem of not launching due to lack of original api file. and yes I did rename them by adding _o and leave them there. also tried moving them out completely and just using your two. possible they have detected the changes you've made in the api files and are not allowing the game to launch with the different version considering when i try to launch with your api files the battleeye logs in launcher say blocking loading of file c:\......\steamapi

I have found a solution for the access violation and the original steam api missing issues. I and several others have stated above. after a bit of testing and playing around I deleted the original api_0's as well as the ones u provided. also deleted the creamapi(necessary as when I just deleted api's this didn't work) verified game files and allowed originals to be downloaded then repeat the original process of renaming and adding your files in and this seemed to solve the problem. will update if I find anything else.

update- also found a method to joining servers that have buy apex instead of join beside them. you must click the server and find the ip and then just connect using direct connection with their ip address.
