if you know what sites you visit and what stuff you download then there isnt really a need
having proper addons for chrome helps a lot more than a crappy antivirus, like proper adblocks etc

Not using an antivirus isn't also a big deal.
But it all comes to how experienced the user is.

Only Malwarebytes. Any other anti-virus seems annoyed me with their unecessary notification.
Also, I always make sure what I visit and download to prevent the chance of downloading malwares and viruses.
