Lightbulb Something very cool, from the past

    Something cool.
I managed to find an old version of the Doomed Realms source, by DragonLord, and spent some time playing it, looking at the features we all loved backthen. And I noticed something we or atleast I haven't seen on any modern servers in many years!
    Minigames!
When we think back on the minigames we all played, on Doomed Realms, Phoenix Realms, and MMOE(aka. Club559) I think we can all recall the Sheep Herding Minigame and the Zombie Tower Defense Minigame. So, due to those times being the best times in rotmg pserver history (in my oppinion) I wanted to remaster, theese two new minigames onto my main project Odiom! I've been working on the Sheep Herding Minigame, and it has come pretty far now, but it is still in progress as I have many plans for this awesome implementation. I hope you guys like it. It took alot of time to piece together on this source.

Since MPGH won't show my video, here is a link for the video:

Future plans for Sheep Herding Remaster:
    - Golden Sheep (A very rare, and hard to herd, sheep that will give you a 100 gold, on herded)
    - Some graphics showing how much time you have left, how many sheeps you've herded and how much fame you have in Pot.
    - The game connects the players to Nexus whenever the minigame is done (when the timer runs out of time)

Please, let me know what you think. And feel welcome to suggest features and/or improvements I can do while I still work on it
    @Ahlwong

The youtube link, is not working for some reason, can you please fix it?
    Thanks in advance

This, now this is what we need. I've never seen anything like it. It's so creative just speaking to you is an honor. Thank you for this work of art.

It's hard telling if you are joking or not. I apreciate if you really do like it, otherwise; Such a sudden turn from indirectly saying my previous work is shit and way too original, to suddenly calling it 'work of art'. Your profile is also really odd.
    What is your point?

Just a waste of time, no one really going to play this over the fast paced game. Just my opinion, no need to flame.

I like it a lot. Minigames are very important in my opinion, and they're definitely something worth focusing on, as it gives players more freedom as to what they want to do. I like the re-master too, looks a lot better than in the past

Unless they has good rewards, no one will play.

    agreed.
It's more of a gimmick than an actual feature.
Who'd want to push some sheeps for a bit of account fame?
Not saying that it's a bad thing, it's just too repetitive for my taste.

edit: nice work tho. Well made.

Minigames like the one above shouldn't give good rewards (though this one does, as 1k fame is quite a lot), I believe they should be something that players hop on when they're bored, to have fun, not to necessarily progress in the game. Though harder minigames should be quite rewarding, that's understandable

Feature is too basic. Add something that brings an essence of competition to the feature. Something like a leaderboard or making it a multiplayer minigame and rewarding players on who can "herd" the most sheeps. As far as I can tell, it's a 1:1 of an old feature, that wasn't much fun ( Fun in the first few runs, and never touched again. And only reason I ran it more than once, was because the reward was high. )

I see what you mean, thanks for the feedback, I'll try to make it more competitive and give it some kind of story, or goal.
